The affliction of Integration     After four decades of school integration America has minded(p) up, and thequestion is "Why?". I believe the answer is because absolutely nix workedBussing was a hassle, most magnet schools were set up for false reasons, ande reallything was very costly. With everything they tried there were still nosignificant changes in the canvas scores of the minority students. So now here we ar in the late 21st century and it can all be summed up with what Chris Hansenof the American Civil Liberties Union in New York City believes the courts aresaying, "We still agree with the goal of school desegregation, but its too hard,and were trite of it, and we give up."     It all started with Brown v. Board of Education saying " complexifyeducational facilities are inherently unequal." There began a plan to conflate public schools across America. The first plan was bussing when Swannv. Charlotte-Mecklen burg Board of Education express that federal courts couldorder bussing to desegregate schools. However in most cases bussing became a lotmore of a hassle than a helper. There were many revolts from parents reservationsituations even more horrible. Most students wanted to go to their neighborhoodschools and non be bussed for long trips to attend a better school.
